Love Facebook Marketplace? Good at finding a deal and closing a sale?

BlairTech is looking for a motivated, self-directed Marketplace Sales & Liquidation Associate to help us sell a large and constantly changing inventory of excess equipment and business assets.

This isn't a traditional sales job. You'll take ownership of the entire process — research an item, determine what it's worth, create the listing, communicate and negotiate with buyers, and coordinate the sale.

Inventory is always changing and could include electronics, office furniture, arcade machines, restaurant equipment, warehouse equipment, forklifts, pallet racking, tools, fixtures, and plenty of other unique items.

What You'll Do

• Research products and determine competitive pricing
• Take photos and create Facebook Marketplace listings
• Write clear, appealing product descriptions
• Respond to potential buyers and negotiate sales
• Keep listings updated and follow up with interested buyers
• Coordinate local customer pickups
• Keep accurate records of completed sales
• Help us continuously move inventory — from small items to high-value equipment

Most sales are local pickup, so no shipping is required for the initial liquidation portion of this role.

You Might Be a Great Fit If You:

• Have experience selling on Facebook Marketplace, eBay, Craigslist, OfferUp, or similar platforms
• Enjoy sales, negotiating, and closing deals
• Are comfortable communicating with customers
• Can research unfamiliar products and figure out what they're worth
• Are organized and able to manage multiple listings
• Take initiative and don't need someone constantly telling you what to do
• Are motivated by commission and performance
• Enjoy the challenge of turning unused stuff into cash

Online selling experience is strongly preferred, but we'll consider someone with strong sales ability, initiative, and a willingness to learn.

Schedule

Monday–Friday during normal business hours. We're open to both full-time and part-time candidates, with some flexibility for someone who consistently produces results.

Opportunity to Grow

This position will initially focus on selling BlairTech's excess inventory. For the right person, there may be an opportunity to grow into a longer-term sales role within our IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) operation, selling computers, electronics, and other technology equipment.
