The Sales & Customer Support Specialist will be responsible to take incoming calls, emails, and online messaging correspondence, both from existing customers and new buyers. The position’s objective is to provide outstanding customer support through the buying and fulfillment process resulting in a winning transaction, both for the buyer and BTG. Success in this position will be achieved by utilizing strong listening & communication skills to ask and answer questions in a manner to advance the sales process, applying tactful negotiation skills to close quotes for pricing and fulfillment, effectively communicating order needs and deadlines to internal BTG teammates, and an aptitude to learn new techniques, strategies & tools that will support your position and grow your responsibilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Answer customer questions and ask leading questions to guide the buyer to a successful purchase
  • Project a positive, helpful and customer centric demeanor at all times
  • Maintain relationships with existing customers and be the primary point of contact for all they need
  • Establish relationships with new customers that will lead to their repeat business
  • Become a product expert on the items BTG sells and those we’ll sell in the future
  • Wok within an established pricing budget for each order
  • Negotiate items, pricing and order timing with buyers
  • Providing quotes… both oral and written
  • Leverage technology and information sharing to increase productivity and profitability
  • Incorporate time management and organization skills that will allow you to thrive in a fun and fast paced role

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Detailed-oriented to guarantee high quality results
  • Excellent time management
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Strong negotiating skills
  • Strong problem solving abilities and experience with complex issues with little supervision
  • Must work well with others and project an attitude that will make others want to work well with you
  • General to superior knowledge of computers of various models and their components
  • Knowledgeable with inventory / supply management
  • Ability to travel as needed (no more than 2-4 times a year)
  • Must pass a drug and background check
